Description: | Single fragment preserves about one-fifth of a wall and floor. Flat recessed base; vertical wall with slight curvature. Small lip, flat on top, projecting slightly to exterior. Groove on interior just below lip. Another groove on exterior. Reddish-brown cinnamon clay, slightly micaceous; firm texture. Red-brown glaze over all, lustrous on interior, dull on exterior, with tendency to flake. Double-dipping streak. Samian B. | |
