Title:   Red Figure Bell Krater Fragment

Description:   Many pieces make up to two non-joining fragments.
a) Twelve joining fragments preserve part of wall, projecting rim and part of one handle stump. Ground line of maeander and crosses; floral pattern beside handle; standing draped woman, right, hand of another figure in front of her. Some relief contour, added white for three-spiked headdress on the woman.
b) Nineteen joining fragments preserve about two-thirds of lower body and edge of attachment for other handle. At left of floral ornament below handle, lower part of draped figure walking left; at right of handle, to each side of altar-like structure a pair of bare feet and legs. Behind left pair, a bowl-like object on the ground.
Context:   West Terrace, south end, early fill, layer IV.
