Title:   Red Figure Amphora Fragments

Description:   a) Many joining fragments preserve rim, about half of neck, one rolled handle and part of shoulder.
b) Two joining fragments from just above foot.
Thickened projecting rim. Decoration: olive wreath around base of neck, passing under handle; palmettes on base of handle. On shoulder at one side, point of spear, right, and back and crest of helmet, left. On other side of shoulder, a pair of wings, right.
Dull black to reddish-brown glaze, much worn.
Context:   West Terrace, south end, early fill, layer V.
