Title:   Stirrup Vase

Description:   The handle missing at one side, and the end of the spouted mouth; also many small body fragments and chips; the pot warped and the fabric flaky. Low ring foot. Groups of bands around foot; around widest part of body, and below shoulder. On the shoulder, groups of diminishing chevrons. Outer face of handle glazed. Ring and dot on the top of the false-mouth knob. No decoration inside ring foot.
Slightly greenish, pale buff clay; dull brown glaze, badly peeled. Inside the pot, unmended chips from the inner wall.
