Title:   Footed Dish Fragment with Sgraffito Decoration

Description:   Lower part of large footed dish. Sides slope upward gradually from conical foot. Center medallion consisting of alternating rays and wavy lines around a central rosette; medallion surrounded by two concentric circles separated by irregular scallops.
Coarse pinkish clay; thin pinkish-white wash outside; inside pale greenish-yellow glaze over the white slip. Decoration engraved through slip, some of which has been scraped away to form pattern.
