Title:   Black Glaze One-Handled Kantharos

Description:   The foot missing, and chips from rim and wall. Broad shallow rounded lower body; narrower upper wall, slightly concave in section. Heavy doubled-over rim, the single band handle reaching from the lower edge of this rim to the top of the lower body.
Lustrous glaze, fired gray to red, and much worn, over all.
Context:   House R, east room, marble chip fill under drain tiles.
