Title:   Moldmade Bowl

Description:   Small fragments missing from rim and wall; restored in plaster. The shape unusually tall and slender, the rim vertical. Medallion, rosette; around this, single row of small leaves, from which spring four slender vine and cluster motifs, reaching to the upper border. These are separated from each other by groups of three slender petals, the tips of the outer petals of each set turned in, giving a flower-like effect. Upper zone, guilloche; then pairs of reversed spirals topped by small rosettes alternating with a leaf (or flower) motif.
Glaze dull black to red inside and out; scraped groove below lip.
