Title:   Red Figure Bell Krater Fragment

Description:   Wall fragment from a large open pot; bell krater. At center, part of an altar, with one row of large and one row of small egg and dot ornament. At right, the right leg to the ankle and part of the ornamental short chiton of a figure moving left. At center, trousered lower right leg, drapery and corner and lower edge of an ornamental, open-sided Persian tunic of a figure three-quarters right(?). Beside him a scepter leans against the altar. At left, part of the bent knee of a figure to right.
Partial relief contour; dilute glaze for drapery details and between the large "eggs". Glaze fair, but worn.
Context:   Early drain.
