Title:   Black Glaze Bowl: Stamped

Description:   Two fragments, both mended, give about half of the base, floor and sides. Small open bowl of heavy fabric. Ring foot, a light ridge around its upper edge, and another above, around the lower wall. Underside of foot has concave profile. Rounding wall, thickened to a broad flat rim, slightly insloping. Stamped decoration: alternating circle of ovules and palmettes, covers the floor. Palmettes also on the rim.
Good black glaze, somewhat worn around the rim outside.
Context:   Well.
