Title:   Potter's Test Piece with Hole

Description:   Irregular fragment from side wall of a large goblet or small krater, including one stump of horizontal rolled handle. About half of circumference of neatly cut hole (ca. 0.023 in diam.) preserved. On exterior, remains of "canonical" decoration in reddish-brown glaze; wide and narrow stripes crossed by tails from vertical lines on and along side handle. On interior, solid black glaze with cracks and a few light reddish spots.
