Description:   Fragment from base of unfinished pot. Full height of base and about one-third of circumference preserved. High hollow pseudo-conical base made separately to be attached to bowl of krater or large goblet. Straight-sided. Finer details of bottom of foot and smoothing of resting surface never completed. Wholly unglazed, but fired.
Pinkish-buff clay, relatively soft.
