Description: | Fragment preserves rim, upper side wall and upper part of one horizontal rolled handle attachment. Small flat projecting horizontal lip, sloping slightly downward; rim continuous with upper side wall (i.e. not inset), covered inside and out below rim, with slate grayish-black test glaze (no drip or hole). Clay bluish-gray, dull buff on reserved lip. (Catalogued for krateriskos properties, not as try piece, although certainly from one). | |
