Description: | Fragment preserving part of top and a little of offset rim, flanged beneath. Seated woman to left; behind her, hand of another figure, holding an object. In front of the seated figure, Eros holding an object; behind him, head and upper part of a woman to right. On edge, dotted egg pattern. Applied clay for wreath of woman and wings of Eros; white for flesh; dilute glaze for inner markings and Eros' fillet. Glaze dull and fired brown in places. Inside glazed apart from inner part of edge and vertical flange. | |
