Title:   Oinochoe with Paint Decoration

Description:   Complete save for chips from trefoil lip and base. Rather angular profile. Ring base. A reserved band extends from bottom of neck to below point of greatest circumference, which is marked by a band of glaze. In the reserved area above this is a curving ivy vine with leaves, tendrils and berries. One side blackened from burning.
Pinkish buff clay, very micaceous. The thin glaze wash, red with some mottling of black, covers the lower part of the pot, the neck, inside and out, and the outside of the handle.
