Title:   Black Glaze Stemmed Dish Fragment

Description:   Single fragment preserves part of foot and floor, with start of wall. Plain disk foot, rising beneath; very low broad stem, set off by two scraped grooves; wall above foot slightly concave, forming a sharp angle with nearly vertical upper wall. Inside, concave floor set off by a scraped groove from vertical wall.
Substantial fabric, very good glaze; the edge of the foot and the resting surface reserved, also the space inside the foot beneath, decorated with glazed circle and dot.
From a small footed kalathos, or stemless nut-dish?
Context:   Well east of Stoa room 2 (= ΘΡΑ well), container 7.
