Title:   Kantharos with Graffito and Plastic Attachments: West Slope

Description:   Mended from many pieces; restored in plaster. Moulded ring foot with scraped groove on underside. High slightly concave upper wall set off from rounded lower wall by a scraped groove. Band handles with applied heads as thumb-rests: heads with long curling locks. Decoration on upper part of body in added clay: a row of dots between two lines; above them, running spiral; dolphins in field above. Two lead rivets indicate that pot was broken and mended in antiquity.
Scratched on bottom, inside foot: Ε
Black glaze, completely vanished from much of pot.
Context:   Cistern, container 6, clay fill on floor.
