Title:   Ostrakon of Kallixenos Aristonymou Xypetaion

Description:   A low heavy foot about two-thirds preserved, with the start of the cup above. Two scraped grooves around the bottom of the stem; the rounded outer edge of the foot reserved, colored pink; elsewhere, fair black glaze, much flaked.

Around the underside of the base: <graphic>
An ostrakon? Note that the name on the bottom appears to have been scratched on after the base was broken, if one may judge from the position of the letters Y M. No such person in the Prosopographia.
Context:   Late pit, just above burnt layer in wall of pit. Found with P 2103.
