Title:   Black Glaze Oinochoe Fragment

Description:   Fragment preserves about half of neck with concave profile; torus lip, flat on top, raised ring on neck below. Broken at junction of neck and body.
Pinkish-buff clay. Firm black glaze outside and to bottom of neck inside; top surface of lip reserved; a scraped line either side of ridge around neck.
Notes:   Other fragments late geometric - 5th. c. B.C.
Conservation Status:   Finished
Context:   Pocket in wall of unlined Turkish bothros, ca. 1.00m. below Herulian level.
