Title:   Plate Fragment with Rouletting: Stamped

Description:   Late Roman C plate fragment. The fragment rises slightly in the center where it is stamped with a small cross(?) with dots in the quardrants and concentric squares above it. Around this are eight impressions of an oblong stamp with an elaborate geometrical design. Beyond, two bands of rouletting.
Hard red clay; red glaze inside only.
Context:   Lowest layer above classical floor.
