Title:   Bowl with Incised Decoration

Description:   About half preserved, with the profile; fragmentary; restored in plaster. Plain hemispherical bowl, irregularly made and the inside uneven. Decorated over all on the outside with light incision: on the bottom a medallion with groups of straight lines radiating to a border composed of a single groove with short diagonal lines to either side. On the walls, panels made of groups of straight lines, with rows of double concentric circles between. Two incised grooves around the rim.
Thick soft fabric; buff to dark gray clay; the surface once smooth, now rough in places. Handmade.
Context:   Geometric grave, at thigh of skeleton.
