Title:   Lekane with Graffito

Description:   Mended from several pieces. One side of wall, with all of one handle missing, and part of bottom. Restored in plaster. Open bowl with steep sides; substantial ring foot; projecting flat-topped rim slightly undercut and with vertical outer face. Rising from the top of the rim, heavy arched handle.
Graffito neatly inscribed on the top of the rim: <graphic>
Very soft pinkish-buff clay, light buff on the surfaces.
Context:   Small pit, context ca. 450-425 B.C.
