Title:   Mug: Pheidias Shape

Description:   Missing a few fragments from body and one from rim. Restored in plaster. Flat bottom, concave at center. Outside, at the base, a narrow groove between flat ridges. Lightly ribbed walls. Low notched ridge at junction of body and rim. The rim flares outwards, its edge being slightly rounded. Flat handle, rooted in shoulder and rim. Glazed over all except for undersurface of foot, which is reserved but bears at its center a dot enclosed by two circles, the outer thick, the inner thin.
