Description:   Missing only a few fragments of body. Spreading ring foot, its inner face rising in a concave curve to join the flat underside of the floor. Horizontal handles, slightly uplifted. Rounded projecting rim, ending outside below in a thin sharp edge. Dull glaze, black inside, brown outside, variously faded, worn, or peeled, covers all the interior, including upper surface of rim, and is used also on the exterior in simple bands above and below the level of the handle roots, and on the outside of the foot. Pale brown fabric. Some suggestion, on the exterior, of a pale brown wash. Inside where the glaze has peeled the surface is pink.
