Title:   Krater: Banded
Category:   Pottery
Description:   Missing a few fragments from the base and body, and chips from the rim. Spreading ring foot. Horizontal handles. The rolled rim ends outside below in a thin sharp edge that is turned in toward the wall of the krater. Black glaze on the interior and on the rim. On the exterior, in pale red glaze, a single band above and below the level of the handle roots and around the foot. But two daubs of glaze on one of the handles - perhaps accidentally smeared during the glazing of the rim - have fired the same color as that on the interior.
