Title:   Black Figure Oinochoe Fragment

Description:   Wall fragment only.
Part of one panel remains, with upper right corner. Black tongues above. At center, a warrior (tunic, shield and sword), moving right, looking back. To either side, a draped standing figure.
Added red for warrior's broad fillet, a band down the front of his tunic, dots on the shield; also on the cloak of the left hand figure (at edge of fragment). Added white for a leaf pattern around the shoulders of the cloak of the right hand figure.
Glaze rather dull; inside unglazed.
Context:   Cut at north end of terrace of Stoa of Attalos, from pit in bedrock at S.E. corner.
