Description:   Large piece of wall and rim missing, a small piece of the floor and part of one handle. Flat bottom, slightly concave; slightly concave walls; plain rim with no provision for lid. Small horizontal handles at rim with long ends extending along rim at either side. The underside unglazed; the inside glazed solid except at the rim. Outside, four zones of decoration separated by pairs of narrow bands: around the bottom, solid rays; then a band of fine checkerboard; then a band glazed solid with four narrow red bands over; around the lip, groups of vertical zigzags. A band of glaze on the handles.
Clay pinkish with pale buff surface; the glaze of the decoration fired black to orange.
