Title:   Kotyle Fragment

Description:   Fragment of kotyle, mended from five pieces. Badly warped from burning or overfiring(?). Disk foot, very small, slightly concave. Rays to a little over half height. Eight thin bands to handle zone. Verticals in handle zone, but not between handles. Verticals enclosed by line just below rim. Inside glazed solid except for reserved line just below rim. Two uneven lines of glaze on handles. Band of glaze around edge of underside.
Clay burnt dark gray; buff on outer surface outside above. Glaze once black, in part purplish from burning.
Attic imitation of Protocorinthian.
