Title:   Jar with Incised Decoration

Description:   Mended from many pieces; parts of body and rim restored in plaster. Deep pitcher; wide mouth with rounded neck and flattened rim. Band handle attached at rim; thumb mark at base of handle. Roughly flattened pattern. Incision: wavy line made with scalloped instrument below neck and at lower handle attachment. Wavy line down handle; on top of handle row of dotted chevrons. In front, on level of lower handle attachment, two bosses. Wavy lines, one pendent from one boss, the other standing on the other boss. Above the bosses, wavy corner.
Red micaceous clay.
