The rim is rounded inside with a thin vertical ridge on top. On the outside, below the ridge, a flat irregular, depressed band with a groove near the top and below it. Short arched band handles with flattened sides, concave on the outside. Down the center a deep long rectangular cutting. In this are inserted two rolled strips of clay with diagonal grooves on each, giving the impression of spirals. The clay on top and bottom of the cutting is pressed in over the rolls of clay. Along lower attachment of handle a raised band below a groove.
