Title:   Vessel on Stand Fragments: Corinthian

Description:   Many non-joining fragments preserve part of rim and handles, part of body and of stand. The rest restored in plaster. Rounded body; short, broad, concave band handles attached somewhat below rim. Rim rolled, outside flattened and sloping inward and offset from body. Rounded bottom preserves parts of high vertical ring, probably a stand.
Pinkish-orange clay with gray core. Coarse fabric with many impurities. The yellow surfacing preserves the lines of a polishing instrument(?).
Context:   Well.
