Title:   Pyxis Lid Fragment: West Slope

Description:   About three-quarters preserved; giving almost the whole profile except lower edge. Domed top with reserved groove around depression in the center. Flange projecting at the junction of the domed top with the vertical walls. Reserved groove at the join of domed top and flange. On top, wreath of ivy leaves and berries. Dilute clay for the leaves, white for the berries.
Glaze fired brown. Pinkish-buff clay.
Context:   Stoa, area north 2, soft earth by Drain 5.
