Description: | Mended from three pieces. Half of foot, part of walls (at one point to the groove below the rim), part of one handle, preserved. Ring foot slightly grooved; flat bottom. Inside circles of stamped palmettes. Outside, between rich handle ornament, two figures on each side. Most of the handle ornament of one handle and one athlete stooping and holding a discus in his left hand; part of arm of the second figure preserved near break at right. Inside of handle and resting surface reserved. Glazed thick and thin circles on reserved bottom. | |
