Title:   Black Glaze Oinochoe

Description:   Mended from many pieces; parts of body restored in plaster. Ring foot; round body, wide neck, continuous profile; trefoil mouth; rolled handle rising above rim.
Outside covered with glaze. Band of applied purple edged by white paint below handle.
Pinkish-buff clay. Streaky red to black glaze, considerably worn.
Context:   Well behind Stoa Shop XVIII.
