Description:   Mouth, and double handle except lower stub, missing. Deep ovoid jug; tall straight neck; flat bottom, slightly projecting.
In panel on neck, grazing animal, right. Filling ornament of chevrons and hatched diamond. Framed at sides and below by band of diagonals between narrow bands; two narrow and a broader band above. On shoulder, and above base, a broad band; body between filled with narrow bands.
Pinkish-buff clay; buff surface. Black to brown glaze, mostly gone.
ADDENDA Grazing animal = deer, cf. short tail.
Context:   Well under rubble wall of predecessor of Square Building, Pier 17 west. Box 3.
