Title:   Alabastron

Description:   Mended from many pieces; fragments of wall, and one handle, missing; lip chipped. Vertical-walled alabastron; sloping shoulder, low neck with flaring rim; flat bottom, three handles on shoulder.
Lip, neck and handles glazed. On shoulder, between handles, running W's. On wall, groups of wavy verticals. Two bands at base of wall. On underside, concentric circles.
Pale buff clay; decoration in black to brown glaze.
Context:   Mycenaean Chamber Tomb opposite stoa of Attalos Pier 15, in modern drainage ditch. Pit under skeleton 4.
