Title:   Black Figure Lekythos

Description:   Mouth and most of foot missing. Thin disk foot.
On shoulder, short rays and lotus buds, stalks skipping one.
Quadriga right; a warrior (helmet, corselet, chiton and greaves) mounting the chariot; he holds reins and goad. Behind the horses, Nike right, looking back towards the charioteer; a wreath in her outstretched left hand. Her large elaborate wings curve inwards; one springs from the shoulder, the other is shown at hip level. Branches in the field.
Free use of red and white.
