Title:   Black Glaze Lekanis

Description:   Mended from three pieces; small bits of wall missing. Stemmed bowl, round-bodied with a heavy cup foot; narrow horizontal rim and vertical flange to take lid.
Thick black glaze, rather unevenly applied. Reserved are: the edge of the foot and the resting surface and the top of the hollow cone beneath, also the outside of the vertical flange, this then painted purple.
Context:   Well beneath Stoa gutter, box 16.
