Title:   Plate Fragment with Relief Decoration

Description:   Preserved is part of the bottom of a plate, with an inset medallion above, and a ring foot below. On the medallion is the bust of a draped figure, facing right, wearing a laurel wreath. The medallion is framed by a large wreath around the bust, and a deep groove setting off the medallion. The top of the figure's head is missing.
Clay dull pinkish-buff, micaceous; traces of a bright red glaze, inside and out.
Context:   Well. Context of late 1st. c. B.C. to mid-1st. c. A.D.
