Title:   Black Figure Lekythos Fragment

Description:   Mended from several pieces; the foot restored in plaster. The figured scene depicts three seated woman, two facing right, the third left. Between the central figure and the right-hand one, a wool basket on the ground. The left-facing figure is preserved to the chin, the others to the waist only. Vine pattern in field.
Good black glaze; a reserved band below the figured zone. Red for dots on clothing and for a line at the bottom of the picture and below the reserved band. White for women's feet, face, and for dots on the clothing.
