Title:   White Ground Lekythos

Description:   Base, shoulder, neck and handle missing. Much of body missing at back side; large chip from front. Lower body has glazed zone with one band above. Enclosing the central zone are two horizontal ladder patterns, themselves enclosed by horizontal lines. The central decoration is a horizontal branch of ivy and leaves and berries.
Streaked glaze misfired to red, on white ground.
Notes:   layer 1.16-1.45m. below highest point of wall.
Context:   Road cut north of north wall of Hieron.
