Description: | Small pieces of body and rim restored. Mended from numerous fragments. Similar in shape to P 27966 but somewhat less squat. Foot is smaller and higher. Scraped line at junction of mouldings on foot, and groove on resting surface scraped. Shiny black glaze, partly flaked away. ADDENDA P 27966: Body is low and compact; foot ring and lip moulded. Plain spurs project from tops of handles. | |
