Title:   Black Glaze Oinochoe

Description:   a) Preserved is most of upper body mended from ten fragments, including rim and both ends of the handle (with mid-section restored). Ovoid body. Side walls reeded from shoulder down. Lip broadly flaring and pinched in at the two sides. Handle triangular in section terminating above in a spur projecting into the throat. On neck is a horizontal garland in added clay covered with partly preserved gold leaf.
b) Fragment of reeded side wall, broken on all sides.
Metallic black glaze.
Context:   Well and cistern.
