Title:   Red Figure Skyphos

Description:   Largely complete, except for chips. Mended and restored in plaster. Torus foot, out-turned rim, thick handles almost triangular. Reserved: resting surface, underside with two glazed circles.
A) Satyr at left, seated right on a large rock, playing double flute. Facing him, a draped female with a thyrsos in her right hand, standing.
B) Two standing draped figures, holding a staff or thyrsos, facing one another.
Both scenes framed with high tendrils; a large palmette under each handle.
Pink clay.
