Description: | One handle and large chips from wall missing. Mended and restored in plaster. Moulded ring foot, rim offset inside turns out slightly; groove above junction of wall and foot. Reserved: underside with glazed band, four glazed circles, and dot. Scraped band above foot. Decoration within: a circle of ovules enclosed, around six linked palmettes around an incised circle. Good black glaze. Red clay. Cf. Agora XII, no. 586. | |
