Title:   Red Figure Cup Fragment: Type B

Description:   Fragment comes from edge of figured medallion; on the left side, a little of the maeander border is preserved. Of the figure, only the arm, draped to the elbow, the hand holding an oinochoe so that the trefoil opening is displayed. On the back of the fragment, part of ornamental pattern: palmette and volute motif outside double reserved band.
Attic clay; good black glaze, worn slightly gray in the field but retaining its color next to the figure where it is reinforced by the reserving band.
