Description: | Neck and shoulder fragment. At base of neck, double decorative band: large egg and dart below small tip-of-tongue pattern. Lower right corner of fragment, on flaring shoulder, upper part of winged figure (Eros), left, indicating filleted head and upper part of the two wings. Relief lines freely if carelessly used (in ornament as well as for profile and for interior drawing of wings). Fillet in applied white. Attic clay. Glaze thick, fairly good quality. Glazed inside to start of shoulder. | |
