Title:   Amphora Fragment: West Slope

Description:   The lower part with a little of the shoulder, remains. Low, flaring base ring, coarsely moulded; on the shoulder is a trace of diminishing rectangles; on the side wall beneath each handle are two loops in white paint; the glaze was scratched from a groove around the base ring and the top of the side wall.
Fine buff clay, metallic black glaze.
Context:   Cistern, in brown fill.
