Description: | Single fragment preserving portion of shoulder and much of handle of large closed vessel (neck-handled amphora or hydria), including juncture of shoulder and neck. Paint on interior and exterior thickly and evenly applied, mostly black. On exterior, irregular band on shoulder, below handle (non-canonical). On interior, thick, vertically and horizontally intersecting lines. Clay body and reserved surfaces evenly fired close to pink and reddish-yellow 7.5YR 7/4-7/6. | |
