Description: | Thirteen joining fragments preserve two-thirds of cup and most of one handle. Torus ring foot, concave lip, canted handles. Reserved: underside except for central dot and circle, outside of foot and resting surface, zone of decoration and band below, outer and inner edge of lip. Decoration same on each side: a figure seated left, head turned back to right; seated on ground, supported on left arm; right arm holding indistinct curving object (lyre?). Branches in background, palmettes by handles. Poor silhouette painting, no incision. Cf. Agora XXIII, nos. 1541-1565 and Agora XII, nos. 567-577, 500-480 B.C. | |
