Title:   Black Figure Cup Skyphos

Description:   Thirteen joining fragments preserve two-thirds of cup and most of one handle.
Torus ring foot, concave lip, canted handles. Reserved: underside except for central dot and circle, outside of foot and resting surface, zone of decoration and band below, outer and inner edge of lip. Decoration same on each side: a figure seated left, head turned back to right; seated on ground, supported on left arm; right arm holding indistinct curving object (lyre?). Branches in background, palmettes by handles. Poor silhouette painting, no incision.

Context:   Well.
Handling:   The vessel should not be lifted by the handles.
